Gypsies in India

Close to 40 million gypsies live in India. Hardly anybody has shown them sustained care. They belong to the part of the Indian population, whose children have no opportunity to have a life worth living, as nobody is available to stand by them. The caste system marginalizes them. The curse of the untouchables is theirs to bear.

The Contactions Foundation along with its branch in India wants to help them out of their poverty, hunger, illness, unemployment and un-education. There is no other means to this than to meet them with love and help them socially and spiritually.

These children live in gypsy settlements, isolated by the caste system, and that is exactly where Contactions cares for them. Contactions does not take the responsibility away from parents.
